Year founded: The Apple II started in 1977 and the company Apple Computer was formed shortly afterwards. The Apple II was credited with starting the personal computer boom.
Headquarters: Steve Jobs' untouched office still has his name on the door.
NEXT'S first offices were Steve Jobs' own mansion in Woodside. The company then consisted of Steve and his five co-founders, and they were still thinking up ideas for their company, while being used by Apple.
How company started: He is widely recognized as a charismatic and design-driven pioneer of the personal computer revolution and for his influential career in the computer industry.
Experience:
At Pepsi, in the 1970s, Sculley managed to capture significant market share from rival Coca-Cola by creating the "Pepsi Challenge," an ad campaign in which the company recruited people off the street to participate in a blind taste test between Coke and Pepsi and filmed their reactions.
Where company started :
In 1972, Steve Wozniak designed his own version of the classic video game Pong. After finishing it, Wozniak gave the board to Jobs, who then took the game down to Atari, Inc. in Los Gatos, California. Atari thought that Jobs had built it and gave him a job as a technician. Atari's cofounder Nolan Bushnell later described him as "difficult but valuable," pointing out that "he was very often the smartest guy in the room, and he would let people know that.
What problem were apple solving:
- Apple has created and developed computers and software that were more advanced than computers around at that time.
- Apple has a spotlight where you can look at all the files that you lost or misplace it
- When Mac OS X runs out of space in RAM for all the programs and data you're using at once, it moves some of them to a hidden temporary file on the hard disk.
